Kendra Malcolm is a Canadian artist from Winnipeg known for her bold, expressive animal paintings. After earning her Bachelor of Design from Alberta College of Art and Design, she received a scholarship to study Advertising at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Kendra spent a decade in New York as an Art Director, working with brands like Denny’s, Sunglass Hut, Chobani, and Legal Sea Foods. In pursuit of meaningful work, she relocated to Cambodia, creating visual communications to support communities in Southeast Asia. Returning to Canada in 2014, she transitioned into teaching art classes. This career shift enabled Kendra to create and practice art on a daily basis, which inspired her to paint more regularly.

Kendra‘s current collection feature is bold, bright animal portraits. She enjoys painting chickens in particular because they are so expressive. As she continues her artistic journey, her artwork is getting larger and more vibrant. Kendra’s work is known for sparking joy and making people smile—reactions that fuel her creative passion.
