Darcy has always had a passion for art and design. Her first inspiration came when she painted a sign for her sister’s Monarch Butterfly garden.
She started refurbishing stepping stones in her yard and knew she found the ideal medium for her artwork.
Knowing the history of Tyndall stone, which is only found in Manitoba, she now had the perfect canvas for her art.
The uniqueness of each stone, with the different shapes, sizes and fossils within them, combined with her beautiful artwork, makes each piece a one of a kind creation for homes and gardens.
Three years ago she had the opportunity to sell her stones at Country Roots Market and Garden.
They were so well received that she sold out that weekend. And so it began!
With the stone and artist only found in Manitoba, it doesn’t get more local than that!
