A lifelong interest in sustainability and self- sufficiency has lead me to the world of millinery. I have always sewn clothing, and then upcycled mittens and hats, and now full-blown millinery. I am passionate about sewing and hand blocking beautiful, original and very functional hats for all women.

In addition to designing my own hats, I have journeyed twice to the south of France to work in her boutique with Lisa Langston,a superior milliner. There, I learned the ancient art of hand blocking hats on wooden blocks, a difficult, but hugely satisfying, undertaking. Of course, I sell hats online across North America, but I am always thinking of what style and fabric will work in our spectacular, but daunting, prairie climate.
