I worked in the flower industry for approximately 20 years. One day I walked into a flower shop and asked if they were hiring. The owner of the store provided me with different flower arrangements and she said “let’s see what you can do”. Moments later, I was hired on the spot. I currently operate a full-time licensed daycare and I am thrilled to be back in the floral industry. I have now shifted to dried florals and create pieces for peoples homes, wedding and events. My favourite aspect of the business is seeing peoples reaction to the pieces I make.
