PKC is a family-owned company that strives to “build community through food”- bringing smiles to the table and the people of Winnipeg one bite at a time. Through our chips, In-House Dinners, Weddings, Farmers Markets, Popup Dinners, Corporate Luncheons, and everything in between. We pride ourselves on trying to obtain and highlight the best local prairie products we can find while working with our clients’ vision for each event.
PKC’s Red Seal Chef- Matty has travelled around the globe mastering his craft. From cooking on a beach in Thailand, by the Opera house in Sydney, Australia and then spending 2 years in Perth cooking at a celebrated restaurant. He then attended the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy; a prestigious program where he learnt the art of Italian cooking, growing food and the farm to table process. After graduating-he worked in a Michelin 3 star restaurant perfecting his skills. With these experiences, Matty felt he was ready to return to Winnipeg, his home and started Prairie Kitchen Catering with his beautiful wife Jessica.
