His latest single, “Red Planet,” showcases his smooth vocals, sharp songwriting, and soaring sax solos. After overcoming addiction and finding new purpose through fatherhood in 2023, Maher continues to channel his renewed passion for life into every performance—reminding audiences that, for him, music truly is life.

Don Amero

After nearly two decades in the music industry, Don Amero still finds himself following his heart. He pushes the boundaries of country music by blending Americana, country, soul, and pop. A multiple award winner, he’s also a 3x JUNO nominee and 2x CCMA nominee. Don is the host of the Through The Fire podcast, where he dives into deep, meaningful conversations, and the author of the children’s book These Roots of Love. Influenced by a wide range of genres—from country to hip-hop—Amero is determined to avoid repetition, embrace growth, and create music that feels like freedom!

Frannie Klein

Anishinaabe Manitoba prairie singer-songwriter Frannie Klein grew up along the shores of Lake Manitoba. With a classic country sound and a raspy, sassy lyrical style, she’s earned the title of Manitoba’s Honky Tonk Queen.

Jamie Buckboro

Jamie Buckboro is one of Winnipeg’s top performers, known for his dynamic voice and a diverse setlist that spans from the ’60s to today. His powerful vocals captivate audiences and command attention wherever he plays. Jamie performs across Winnipeg as a solo artist, in a duo with his sister Sarah (Tobacco Flowers and Gin), and with his bands Jivetown and The Honeysliders.

Jane Cory & Kyle Burghout

Canadian fiddle champions Jane Cory and Kyle Burghout have toured across the country, performing at festivals, competitions, camps, dances, theatres, and house concerts. With numerous accolades to their names—Jane as a Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Champion and Kyle as a North American Irish Fiddle Champion—the duo creates innovative arrangements filled with lush twin-fiddle harmonies. Rooted in the rich fiddling traditions of their home regions—Jane from Manitoba and Kyle from the Ottawa Valley—their music blends classic styles with contemporary compositions from across Canada and beyond, including many of their own original tunes.

Jess Rae

You may recognize Jess Rae from the Western Canadian Music Award–winning roots band Sweet Alibi. When she’s not touring with the group, Jess performs under her solo project, bringing her soulful, roots-infused sound to audiences across Canada. She has opened for artists like Ron Sexsmith and Slow Leaves and is making a name for herself on festival stages and in venues nationwide. Known for her expressive, heartfelt vocals—often compared to Adele, Norah Jones, Feist, and Amy Winehouse—Jess captivates listeners with honest songwriting and emotional depth. Currently, she’s developing songs for her debut solo album, set to release in 2024.

Joe Curtis

Joe’s music is an intimate and compelling blend of roots, rock, folk, pop, and blues. His songs, driven by powerful melodies and a soulful voice, create a space that draws from the past while living vibrantly in the present. Whether performing in a cozy house concert or a packed club, Joe takes listeners on a journey from reflective moments to soaring blues and R&B—delivered with the kind of passion that lifts audiences out of their seats.

Kevin McLean & Natanielle Felicitas

Natalie Felicitas is a collaborative, multi-genre cellist who draws on her classical training to accompany musicians across styles ranging from folk to experimental noise projects. Alongside her ongoing creative work with Raine Hamilton, JP Hoe, and various film and theatre productions, she is a sought-after studio musician, contributing to recordings by artists such as KEN Mode, Madeleine Roger, and Slow Leaves.

Kevin McLean is a Winnipeg-based pianist and keyboard player who has performed across Canada with artists spanning genres from punk to folk. With over twenty years of experience, Kevin has honed his craft both on stage and in the studio, appearing on numerous recordings throughout his career.

Mya

Mya is a Manitoba-based singer and songwriter who has been a vibrant presence in the local music scene for over a decade. With her band, Almost Insight, she has released two albums that showcase her distinctive songwriting style—blending folk roots with contemporary sounds. A passionate performer, Mya continues to captivate audiences as a solo artist with heartfelt lyrics and fresh interpretations of timeless melodies that linger long after the music stops.
